I am reading a novel "pride and prejudice" by Jane Austen. I am struggling with these lines in capter 8.?
When Darcy replied to Miss Bingley at the end of chapter "to whom this remark was chiefly addressed, 'there is meanness in all the arts which ladies sometimes condescend to employ for captivation. Whatever bears affinity to cunning is despicable.' Could anyone please help me to explain the meaning?
How do I tell my parents I don't want kids?
Don't have any. It's not like your parents can FORCE you to have children. You've already told them that you don't want children so now follow through.
What is the percent chance of getting pregnant if you had sex during your period AND with a vasectomy?
We had an unlikely pregnancy in the past from having sex during menstruation. So we got a vasectomy, and we had unprotected sex with no incident. Recently we had sex during menstruation again (obviously with a vasectomy still in place), and we have potential signs of pregnancy. What are the odds that this can happen?
Help with a kidnap scene?
OMG!!! that was awsome! what were you talking about you wrote the whole scene just then? but if you are trying to figure out where to go from there....you could have her wake and see who her kidnapper is, or you can have her wake all alone and scared. But just keep going with what you got! you're doing fine! But a hint of advice try to think of how you would feel if it were you in that situation and how would you react or feel.
Is there a place to get the raws for Spiral: Alive Volumes 4 and 5?

What kind of story genre is this?

My faves are stories like ones where people are psychotically trapped in there houses/apartments exactly like the one on this link http://www.creepypasta.com/psychosis/#more-486 any suggestions on chapter book?
Vasectomy verses Tubes tied ... Any advice?
Well, he's right. The surgery for him takes a few minutes in a doctor's office and he out and about in no time. The doctor will deaden the pain receptors, make a small incision, pull out the vas tubes, cut out a piece and tie the ends, and close it all back up. Maybe a stitch, maybe not. Men I know who have had it done said it is relatively painless, though the position they have to be in to get it done is a bit embarrassing, and it takes a whole 15 minutes, start to finish including time for the pain killer to take effect. No walking bow-legged like they show in the movies. For you, the procedure is a little more difficult and is closer to major surgery as it is quite invasive. For you, though, recent advancements using small openings and working with a laproscope to see inside, means it also CAN be done as an outpatient procedure, though probably still with full anesthesia since they will be working deep within the abdomen. But still, the incision will be small, with maybe a stitch or two to close. But for you, there will be some recovery period since it IS quite invasive. So, in my opinion, it is six of one or half dozen of the other. Talk it over. Flip a coin. OK, so what about the worst case situation, divorce. If that happened and you each married, would you maybe want kids by that marriage? What about your present husband? Would he want kids with a new wife, maybe? The operation for each of you CAN be reversed, but the odds of it being successful in restoring fertility are really slim. All I am saying is to consider all the options, especially the worst case of divorce, remarriage and possibility of more children. Never say never...
