Men, have you heard of the new RISUG method of birth control?

I'm a guy who never wants children. I was searching about vasectomies when I came upon this method called reversible inhibition of sperm under guidance. I was scared to do a vasectomy since I'm a distance runner. PVPS is very painful and can stop physical exertion for life in 35% of men who undergo vasectomy. A few people who did the RISUG procedure recovered in a week and had no paid or side effects at all! So what are your opinions? Should I seek a surgeon to perform the RISUG?
