What else can me and my fiance do to make sure i dont get pregnant?

Ok so me and my fianc� are waiting to have sex until we are married. I am a virgin and he is not. I don't know hardly anything about prevention except birth control and condoms. I plan on getting on birth control a month before we get married but he says he won't wear a condom. We don't want any kids ever, he already has a kid and I see her as my own. He plans on getting a vasectomy a few months after we get married but I was wondering what else could we do to prevent pregnancy other than using a condom?? Please help me, thank you :).
