Why do I have to pee every ten minutes?

I've been having this problem for like 2 weeks now. I never feel the urge to pee until it is hurting my sides. At first I thought that I needed to drink more water but last night I had to go to the bathroom every ten minutes. What is going on? I cant be pregnant because I'm on birth control and my husband had a vasectomy.
